Did you know...
Some of our brainy quizzers, aptly named The Bell Boys, challenged the Eggheads and they beat them. They won £1000 and donated the winnings to Prostate Cancer Research.

Michelle trekked the Sahara!
Landlady Michelle completed a gruelling 110km trek across the Sahara Desert in November 2022. She has now raised over £16k for Breast Cancer charity CoppaFeel!.
Michelle was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in April 2021 after finding a lump. Luckily she found it early enough but has undergone a mastectomy, chemotherapy & radiotherapy in the past 9 months. Of course she couldn't just sit back and relax now, so she is determined to raise some dosh and get people all over West Sussex and beyond, talking about BooBs!

CoppaFeel! are the first UK breast cancer charity to create awareness amongst young people, with the aim to install a new healthy habit that could one day save a life. They are on a mission to stamp out late detection of breast cancer and ensure the nation is checking their boobs regularly. They want to educate people on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, encourage them to get to know what is normal for them and empower young people to have the confidence to see a doctor if they notice anything that isn't right for them. https://coppafeel.org
